is Sinapis?
SINAPIS is a social action center reorganized in
April 2003 by combining already existing four social work groups;
Council for Justice and Peace, Caritas Osaka, Committee for International
Cooperation, and Hand of Peace.
Principles:
SINAPIS strives(works) for education (cultivation) and practice
of “Justice, Peace, and Human Rights”. SINAPIS means mustard seeds.
Jesus story using mustard seed metaphor is documented in the New
Testament in the gospels of Mathew, Mark and Luke. We call ourselves
SINAPIS with a hope to “sow seeds of peace in each hearts (soul),
families, communities and churches to root the peace within us all”
